Acoustic or electric; which is better? It’s an age-old music debate that is unlikely to be resolved anytime soon.  Both have merits.  Both have fans.  But when you get an epic band like Powderfinger performing an epic show for Monday Night Live, you don’t have to choose.  The plan was for the band to play two sets; one acoustic, one electric.  The set list would be voted for by their fans, and performed at Tivoli in Brisbane.  Ambitious?  Perhaps.  But this is Powderfinger we’re talking about.  Over their nineteen year career, they have proven that they can do intimate as well as they can do stadium.  That is why they are one of the country's most successful bands.
