Irish rockers U2 are set to release a brand new remix album, titled Artificial Horizon. It’s the second time the Bono-led outfit have invited other names to lend their remixing skills to U2 tracks, with their previous remix disc, 1995’s Melon: Remixes For Propaganda, becoming something of a collectors item over the years.
The Dublin-based four-piece have teamed up with everyone from Nine Inch Nails’ creator Trent Reznor to French electro duo Justice for their new LP, which will revisit songs from several albums throughout their career, and is set for release in mid May. The disc will also contain three never-before released tunes: “I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight (Live U2360 Remix)”, “City Of Blinding Lights (Hot Chip 2006 Remix)” and “Get On Your Boots (Fish Out Of Water Mix)”.
U2 are set to kick off the American leg of their 360° World Tour in June, with Lenny Kravitz, The Fray and Interpol joining them on the road for the next leg of the global trek. The tracklisting for Artificial Horizon is:
