His name is
Al Bino and he’s the latest addition to the Australia Hip-Hop scene. Not to be blended in with the rest Al Bino comes with a unique point of view and a collection of hot lyrics. He learnt his trade on the way up through the rap battle circuit, honing his skills and rising to represent Australia on an international level.
His breakthrough hit “It’s a beautiful day… for cancer” is a formidable collaboration with US Hip-Hop artist and producer Lyrics Born. LB discovered Al Bino while he was touring Australia in 2007 and they’ve had a strong partnership ever since. “It’s a beautiful day… for cancer” is a super catchy summer track that features LB on the chorus and is scheduled for heavy rotation on Australian radio and TV. The track was also produced by LB and Asa Taccone (SNL/Dangermouse) for an Australian skin cancer benefit project.
