Belgian rap and R&B star Brahim first came to prominence as a television performer, making appearances on Belgium's version of Pop Idol, and eventually -- in 2008 -- he was featured in the preliminary rounds of the Eurosong Contest, with the song "What I Like About You." In the course of his career, he would release a handful of hit albums and singles in his native Belgium, such as the 2005 single "Didi," included on the Najaha album released the following year.
