Destiny is a Gothenburg, Sweden, heavy metal band founded in 1982 by bassist Stefan Björnshög, who has hired and fired a seemingly endless succession of henchmen over the course of 20-plus years and a mere handful of independently released albums. These included 1985's Beyond All Sense, 1988's Atomic Winter, 1991's Nothing Left to Fear, 1998's The Undiscovered Country, and 2004's Future of the Past, which have documented the group's transition from a traditional to a power metal style, while never obtaining anything remotely hit-worthy for their efforts. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
