German trio Sono is comprised of producer Florian Sikorski, songwriter/producer Martin Weiland, and singer Lennart A. Salomon. Florian Sikorski (born 1975) became involved in electronic music as a sound programmer in a recording studio after attending Hamburg's Conservatory of Music. He began DJing in 1993. Two years later, sound engineer and DJ/producer Martin Weiland (born 1975) joined him. With the addition of Lennart A. Salomon, who grew up in the U.K. mostly influenced by contemporary jazz and funk, the project was completed.

Sono debuted in 2001 with the release of "Keep Control." The chart-topping single was later featured on the compilation Global Hits 2002 by Universal Records. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
