Gwen Stefani, currently in Australia for a series of shows as part of her The Sweet Escape tour, has admitted she was terrified about becoming a mother. The 37-year-old gave birth to son Kingston last year with husband Gavin Rossdale. "My biggest fears about motherhood were, 'How would I fit him into my life?' and, 'Would I be too self-obsessed to be able to care about him enough?'. "I have a really extraordinary life and I obviously have a lot of passion about the things that I do. So I didn't know if I could be selfless enough. But obviously I can. It's the most amazing thing that has happened to me." It seems Stefani has Kingston's best interested in mind; while in Sydney recently, she took him to the home of tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt and Bec Cartwright, to play with their daughter, Mia.
