US southern rockers Kings Of Leon – due in Australia in December for the Falls Festival – will head back into the studio in February. According to singer Caleb Followill, the Southern brothers' latest sound is inspired by 80s English pop stars Wham!. "Hopefully we'll be in the studio by Valentine's Day to start the next one," Followill told London radio station XFM. "We try to strike while the iron's hot. And we're writing some really good songs right now. Because of the thrill of being number one [in Ireland], I think the songs we're writing now just really have something about them. It's a passion that I think will carry on. This is gonna be like a Wham! record."
