Despite media reports suggesting a
Pink Floyd reunion is underway, guitarist David Gilmour says the iconic 70s act are not getting back together.
With more than 200 million album sales to their credit, the "Wish You Were Here" rockers performed at the recent Live Earth concert in London, fuelling speculation they'd resurface for a world tour in 2008.
"Roger [Waters] hasn't written a lyric lately that has really been something where I've gone, 'Wow, I wish that was part of my oeuvre'," Gilmour said of the band's frontman and bassist.
For now, Gilmour said he's happy to continue focussing on his own music.
"Going back into all that just wouldn't bring me joy. It's my time to be selfish and please myself."
