We guess it was his time behind the kit in Rockstar: Supernova.

Former Mr Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee, is officially no longer a member of the band that made him famous – Motley Crue.

Lee has announced he’s split with his “Girls, Girls, Girls” bandmates, after falling out with Nicky Sixx, Vince Neil and Mick Mars, who recently took Lee’s manager, Carl Stubner, to court over their drummer’s other jobs.

The Crue accused Stubner of persuading Lee to choose reality TV shows over a lucrative Motley tour and, according to Sixx, it was the last straw. “He’s out of the band, that’s just the way it is,” the guitarist says of Lee. “Tommy kept f**king around and I said, ‘You know what dude, you’ve got to knock it off’. He said, ‘I f**king quit.’ I said, ‘Fine, I still love you, but I don’t have time for this.’
