Touring with a band isn’t all groupies and rock & roll. A crew member travelling with “Born In The USA” singer Bruce Springsteen has suffered an injury while on the tour with the Boss in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The unnamed roadie was stabbed on Saturday 8 December, following a dispute over a taxi fare. The crew member decided to share a cab from the venue back to the band’s hotel with a couple he met on the street.
Disputing how the fare would be paid, the roadie got out of the car – only to be stabbed in the thigh after arriving at the hotel. He was later taken to hospital with a superficial wound.
Police have arrested the assailant, says Springsteen’s management – and the tour is set to continue, with the patched-up roadie onboard.
