Making its second appearance on the festival calendar in 2008 is the three-day camping event, Playground Weekender.

Held at the Del Rio Resort at Wiseman’s Ferry, NSW, the festival shuttles punters to and forth via catamaran and features camping, kangaroos, open-air cinemas and much more.

Organisers have announced their first line-up for 2008, which includes headlining Austrians Kruder & Dorfmeister, famous for their massive selling K&D Sessions. Also joining the fun is Stone Roses frontman – Manchester singer Ian Brown, alongside British indie darlings Maximo Park, while the bill also contains Ben Lee, Josh Pyke, Kid Kenobi, Dappled Cities Fly, Crazy Peni$, The Wombats, Kora, South Rakkas Crew, Norman Jay, Tiefschwarz, Tom Middleton, Everything But the Girl’s Ben Watt, Steve Bug, Mo Horizons, Ralph Lawson, LTJ Bukem, and Belgian future disco duo Spirit Catcher.
