Fans of the Bootylicious trio Destiny’s Child can get excited with the news that Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are planning on re-teaming over the Christmas period.
Apparently the Houston, Texas trio – who first formed in 1990 as a four-piece – have been inspired by the recent Spice Girls comeback.
“This current spate of reunions has given us ideas,” says Kelly Rowland. “Despite what people say we are all still really close. A couple of weeks ago Beyoncé did a show in Los Angeles and asked me and Michelle to join her on stage to sing ‘Survivor’. The emotion was incredible and it felt so good to be back up there with the girls again. It was a real tear-jerker. The fans were crying and going nuts. It was magical.”
Unlike the Spice Girls, there’s no bad blood between the three – with Knowles planning on spending her Christmas Day with Rowland and joint family and friends. “It will be a real family affair,” says Rowland.
