The Vines fourth album is to be titled Melodia and will be released Saturday 12 July. In November of last year the band returned to the studio in LA, with Highly Evolved and Winning Days producer Rob Schnapf.

The resulting album is true to The Vines form, following lead singer Craig Nicholls struggle with Aspersers Syndrome, a form of autism, which he was diagnosed with shortly after the release of second album, Winning Days.

His rehabilitation took a number of years, but Nicholls is now back on track and showing it with an outstanding showcase at SXSW in March this year.

The first single from Melodia is "He's A Rocker". The album features 14 new songs.
