Coldplay are dominating the charts worldwide with their latest release. 

While the album Vida La Vida Or Death And All His Friends held the number one spot on the UK charts, the single “Viva La Vida” topped both the UK and the US singles chart this week.  While they’ve had top ten hits in the past, this is the first time they’ve topped the charts.

The album is also tipped to be number one on the US Billboard charts this week, meanwhile they can celebrate being the first British band to have a number one US single since the Spice Girls in 1997.
