Together they made up one of the most successful family groups ever to grace the stage: the Jackson 5.

But according to reports in the New York Post, the most famous sibling – ”Thriller” star Michael Jackson – hasn’t spoken to his brothers Jermaine, Tito, Marlon, Randy and Jackie in over three years.

Due to appear onstage together next month in Beverly Hills, California, to receive an ‘Icon Award’ at the eighth annual BMI Urban Awards, it appears as though the most prominent Jackson will be a no-show.

According to the paper, Michael owes his brothers around AUS$964,000 in royalties and has had no contact with them since he was acquitted of child molestation charges.

Jermaine says he’s hopeful his brother will attend, previously telling reporters they were working on a reunion tour. “It could be sometime in 2008,” he was quoted back in January.

“Michael will be involved. We owe that to the fans and to the public. Michael has to be involved. He is a Jackson.”
