There’s more controversy for the queen of pop, with Madonna being forced to deal with an unhappy crew working on her current Sticky & Sweet tour.

According to reports in the British press, staffers in her 250-person team are threatening to walk out after being forced to sleep in cheap airport hotels, while their boss books into luxury accommodations.

Following a recent concert in Nice, France, the “4 Minutes” singer holed up in the Chateau Saint Jeannet with 12 of her entourage, at a cost of AUS$23,000 per night – while the other staffers stayed near the airport.

“Everyone is absolutely furious with her and some of them want to walk out of the tour,” a source revealed. “They feel they are being treated like second-class citizens, despite all their hard work over the last few months. Trouble has been brewing for a few months in the Madonna camp, especially since all the claims that her marriage was in crisis. Now to make matters worse, they are being forced to stay in horrible places and fly on cheap low-cost flights, while she has the lap of luxury. Several are already talking about walking if things don’t improve.”
