Gossip columns are abuzz today, with news that one of 2008’s hottest celeb romances – singer/songwriter John Mayer and Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston – is back on again. The couple, who split in early September after more than three months together, were spotted making out in Los Angeles yesterday, after reportedly reuniting in New York last weekend where Mayer lives and was recuperating after completing a recent world tour.

The 30-year-old “Your Body Is A Wonderland” singer took his ex out to dinner at New York City’s romantic Il Mulino restaurant over the weekend, where they reportedly dinned on oysters and were “friendly but regular,” says a restaurant staffer. “We wouldn’t have noticed them if someone hadn’t called ahead. They just came in with their group and sat in the hookah bar and drank and ate.”

Meanwhile, Mayer recently confessed on his regularly updated blog (see johnmayer.com) that he’s become obsessed with the new Kings Of Leon longplayer, Only By The Night. “I can’t stop playing it,” he admits.
