They’re two of rock ‘n roll’s most legendary artists, and have been friends for decades. Now it’s been revealed that iconic singer/songwriter Bob Dylan has been playing tourist – and visiting the childhood home of Canadian rocker Neil Young.

“I’m looking around and I realise, this guy having a tuque on has really great boots on, these sort of cowboy, motorcycle boots,” explained Winnipeg resident John Kiernan to American news channel CBC News. Kiernan lives in the house that was once the childhood home of the “Need And The Damage Done” singer. “And he was wearing really nice leather pants. And I realise I’m staring face-to-face with Bob Dylan.”

After spotting two men out front on his lawn, Kiernan invited Dylan into the house so he could check out Neil’s former bedroom. Kiernan says the “All Along The Watchtower” star asked lots of questions, and was in town with his manager, “taking the tour”.

Neil Young is heading to Australia for solo shows in January as well as headlining the Big Day Out.
