U2 have revealed the release date for their highly anticipated forthcoming album.
No Line On The Horizon is due out on Monday 2 March, 2009. It was originally expected to be released earlier this year, but the album was delayed after the band decided to scrap several tracks they’d recorded with producer Rick Rubin and record new tracks, as previously reported.
The follow-up to 2004’s How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb features songs recorded with long-time producers
Brian Eno, and Daniel Lanois, with additional production by Steve Lillywhite.
It was written and recorded in cities around the world, including Fez, Morocco, Dublin, New York and London.
