Irish rockers U2 debuted their brand new single yesterday, releasing a radio version of the track “Get On Your Boots”. The new song is the first release from the highly anticipated 11 track longplayer from the Dublin four-piece, titled No Line On  The Horizon.

Due for release on Tuesday 3 March, Bono and co’s latest LP has been recorded with long-time U2 producers Brian Eno and Steve Lillywhite, with sources suggesting the band has recorded almost two album’s worth of material. Available in five different incarnations and featuring a grey, abstract photograph on the cover shot by Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto, the LP reportedly contains familiar U2 rockers (“I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight”,  “Get on Your Boots”) with more experimental, electro and Eastern inspired numbers (the seven-minute “Moment of Surrender” and “Fez – Being Born”).

A digital version of “Get On Your Boots” will be available on Monday 16 February. Tracklisting for No Line On  The Horizon is: “No Line on the Horizon”, “Magnificent”, “Moment of Surrender”, “Unknown Caller”, “I’ll Go Crazy if I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight”, “Get On Your Boots”, “Stand Up Comedy”, “Fez – Being Born”, “White As Snow”, “Breathe”, “Cedars of Lebanon”.
