Despite denying rumours that he’s set to rejoin his former outfit, British ‘boy band’
Take That, “Angels” singer
Robbie Williams might do just that – but only up on the big screen.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, the 34-year-old entertainer has expressed interest in a planned documentary of the “Love Ain’t Here Anymore” group, who disbanded in 1990 before reforming (minus Williams) in 2005.
“Robbie spends most of his time these days playing soccer or relaxing in his Los Angeles mansion,” says a friend of the Take That group. “It takes a lot to get him excited, but the thought of having his years in Take That made into a movie has done just that. The thought of seeing himself on the big screen obviously appeals to him.”
Former bandmate
Gary Barlow – with whom Williams had entered into a chart battle after they both tried to kick off their solo careers at the same time – has revealed that he’s discussed a biopic with his old friend, also confessing he’s been trying to convince Williams to return to the UK.
There’s no word if Williams will sign onto the pic, however – if not, it’s likely it’ll focus on Take That’s comeback only.
