The upcoming Bob Dylan biopic is finished, with distribution rights purchased this week by former Miramax producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein. I'm Not There: Suppositions On A Film Concerning Bob Dylan (supposedly a working title) is directed by Velvet Goldmine's Todd Haynes and features a selection of Hollywood's finest – including Cate Blanchett, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale and more – portraying the legendary singer/songwriter in different stages of his life. Dylan has contributed to the film's soundtrack, as have Willie Nelson and Yo La Tengo. The experimental film should hit cinemas towards the end of 2007.
