Williams has been getting on “brilliantly well” with Gary Barlow at Trevor Horn’s Sarm West studio, the Frankie Goes To Hollywood producer told BBC News.
“They’re all in the building. Gary is in one of the rooms and Robbie’s there, so they bump into each other and they get on brilliantly well,” he said.
Horn is producing Williams’ follow-up to his 2006 album Rudebox at the same time the Manchester boy band are working on new material.
Earlier this week Williams told the Daily Mirror that a reunion was “looking more likely by the week”.
His spokesman denied that a reunion is on the cards, however.
Take That, meanwhile, are gearing up for summer UK tour which includes four dates at London’s Wembley Stadium (July 1,3,4,5).
