British singer
Amy Winehouse has returned to the Caribbean island of St Lucia, less than two months after she holidayed for three months on the tropical isle. The 25-year-old “Rehab” singer was snapped on the weekend riding horses, and is rumoured to be working on new tracks – for the much anticipated follow-up to the chart-topping Back To Black LP – while on holiday.
“Amy is enjoying herself. She loves the island and would even consider buying a place here,” a spokesperson from Winehouse’s record label, Island, told The Daily Record newspaper. “She has managed to enjoy a much healthier lifestyle on the island. She knows it will take time to present a full album’s worth of material. Expectations are high.”
Currently extracting herself from her marriage with husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Winehouse was forced to return to London last month to plead not guilty over a charge of common assault, in a case against a former fan which has been adjourned until July.
