In what will surely be one of the most anticipated tours in Australia in 2009, chart-topping pop/R&B queen Beyoncé Knowles is bringing her “I Am” tour down under.

The former Destiny’s Child singer was last in the country back in 2007, when she performed “the Beyoncé Experience”. This time ‘round fans will be treated to tracks from the number one LP I Am… Sasha Fierce – ‘Sasha’, of course, being the singer’s alter-ego.

Bringing an all-female band along for the trek, the two-hour plus show will see the “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” singer performing in costumes created by fashion designer Thierry Mugler. Tickets go onsale Friday 24 April (see www.ticketek.com for pre-offer) and dates are:
