Chicago musical pioneers Wilco have revealed their seventh album will simply be titled… Wilco. According to a representative for Jeff Tweedy and compatriots, the follow-up to 2007’s Sky Blue Sky is due out in late June, when the “Shot In The Arm” outfit will hit the road in the States for a Northern summer tour of festivals and solo shows.

According to drummer Glenn Kotche, the new disc will even contain a track called “Wilco, The Song”, which he describes as, “A great, upbeat song professing our love for our fans.”

Recorded in the band’s Chicago loft, according to a report on Rollingstone.com the new LP will feature tracks “One Wing” and “Sunny Feeling”, described by Kotche as breezy, pop-friendly tunes. Other songs include ballad “Deeper Down” and five-minute-plus jam “Bull Black Nova”. “That one’s a really intense, powerful song,” says Kotche of the song. “It’s got a static groove that’s really insistent. There’s a lot of great guitar moments on that song.”
