They’re an unlikely couple, but goth shock rocker
Marilyn Manson has admitted he reckons blonde pop starlet
Lady Gaga is “great”.
The 40-year-old musician (whose real name is Brian Warner) confessed to Rolling Stone magazine that he’s quite fond of the tunes from the “Poker Face” diva, who recently wowed Australian concert-goers with her first ever tour down under. Seems the Antichrist Superstar singer even thinks the pair have a few artistic traits in common.
“She knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s very smart, she’s not selling out,” Manson confessed, in an interview to promote his latest LP, The High End Of Low, releases last month. “She’s a great musician, she’s a great singer, and she’s laughing when she’s doing it, the same way that I am.”
Lady Gaga – who’s known to her family as 23-year-old Stefani Germanotta – was thrilled when the editors of the American publication asked her to appear on their current cover... covered in nothing but a see-through corset of bubbles. “When they told me about it I nearly cried,” she says.
