Madonna has become a new mother once again, after her newly adopted three-year-old toddler, Mercy Chifundo James, was secretly flown from her home in Malawi to London early on Saturday morning.

According to a report in People magazine, “A private jet flew in from South Africa and collected her at five minutes to six last evening. She connected to London from Johannesburg at 10:30 p.m.”

Accompanied by a nanny on the trip, young Mercy will now be joining new sister Lourdes, plus big brothers Rocco and David Banda (also from Malawi) after the appeal by the singer to adopt the child was overturned last week.

Madonna was spotted leaving London last week for the African nation, and was believed to have been staying at a ranch called Kumbali Lodge. Owner Guy Pickering confirmed there was a booking for two weeks, but refused to reveal any more information.

“We don’t discuss our clients; that’s private information,” he said.
