New York City hip-hop pioneers the
Beastie Boys have revealed more details of their upcoming eighth studio LP. Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 will be released on Tuesday 15 September. The follow-up to 2007’s instrumental The Mix-Up, the new disc will feature 17 songs, including “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win” (featuring Brooklyn’s Santigold) and “Too Many Rappers” (featuring rapper Nas, who performed with the “Sabotage” trio at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee earlier this month).
As well as gearing up to tour the US summer festival circuit, the Beasties will also release a remastered and expanded version of 1998 album, Hello Nasty, in late August.
