[Source: NME.com] Editors have revealed that their forthcoming third album, In This Light And On This Evening, will be released on Monday 21 September .

The album will be the follow-up to the Birmingham-band’s 2007 [UK] number one album The End Has A Start.

In a statement frontman Tom Smith outlined that the album was heavily influenced by the city of London.

“I actually think it’s in every song,” he said. “In the right time and place, in the right light and on the right evening, something you have seen 1,000 times before can still take your breath away.”

Editors recently announced details of a UK tour for October.
