[Source: NME.com] The two remaining members of Panic At The Disco have confirmed that they plan to continue the band, despite lyricist and guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker walking out earlier this week (Tuesday 7 July).

Blogging on Myspace.com/panicatthedisco, Urie and Smith paid tribute to their former bandmates, calling them “some of the most talented guys we know”.

The duo added that that they are now working on new songs, and gearing up to support Blink 182 and No Doubt on tour.

Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well. We are working on new songs that we are excited for you to hear. Our dates with Blink and No Doubt start in a little less than a month, and we wouldn’t miss those for the world,” they wrote.

“We know everybody has a lot of questions at this point with everything being so out of the blue, most of those should be answered in the coming weeks. We appreciate every one of you, and hope you continue with us on this incredible ride.”

Urie and Smith signed off by asking fans to keep their eyes peeled, as “we have a surprise in store for you”.

The pair are rumoured to be currently recording two new tracks.
