Luke Steele (the Sleepy Jackson) and Nick Littlemore (Pnau) – who teamed up together in 2008 for the magical musical pairing known as Empire Of The Sun – are set to get a big breakthrough in the United States, with news that hip-hop mogul Jay-Z is working with the Aussie duo.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, the “We Are The People” pair appear on the song “What We Are Talking About”, which is featured on Jay-Z’s anticipated longplayer, Blueprint 3. According to the article, the rapper was watching an episode of the TV show “Entourage” when he heard EOTS’ song “Standing On The Shore”… and requested a meet-up.

The pair aren’t the only musical guests for the new disc, Jay-Z also lining up collaborations with MGMT, Rihanna and Kanye West. The rapper’s eleventh studio disc is set to be released on Friday 11 September.
