As two of the most famous faces on the planet, a date back in the ‘80s to the MTV Music Video Awards earned these pop stars massive media attention. But now a newly published interview with late pop king
Michael Jackson has seen the “Thriller” star describe
Madonna as “not a nice person”.
The “4 Minutes” singer recently paid tribute to the late singer, who died back in June, with a moving speech at the opening of the recent MTV Video Music Awards last month. But according to Jackson’s “spiritual advisor”, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the shy singer wasn’t so keen on his more outspoken peer when they organised their first date...
“‘Madonna laid the law down to me before we went out,’” Boteach recalls Jackson telling him. “‘[She said] I am not going to Disneyland, okay? That’s out I said, ‘I didn’t ask to go to Disneyland’. She said, ‘We are going to the restaurant. And afterwards, we are going to a strip bar.’”
According to the 42-year-old Rabbi, Jackson refused to go – and believed their disagreement, “caused her to say some mean things about me in the press. And I wrote that she is a nasty witch, after I was so kind to her.”
Boteach has recorded more than 30 hours of interviews with Jackson, which have appeared in a brand new book.
