Summer in Australia just keeps getting bigger, with the announcement on Friday 23 October of the first line-up for the 2010 Good Vibrations festival.
Backed by Sydney entrepreneur Justin Hemmes, the annual travelling music festival will kick off on Saturday 13 February in Centennial Park, Sydney, NSW, before it heads across the nation. Taking to the main stage are some regular Aussie visitors to our shores – Las Vegas’ rockers
the Killers, who’ll be joined by legendary dance DJ
Armand Van Helden and British duo
Basement Jaxx, who’ll be touring their brand new album, Scars.
Indie fans can get excited by the addition of internationals Friendly Fires and
Gossip, while locals
Art vs Science have also landed a slot on the bill. Hip-hop fans will be celebrating tunes old and new, with the addition of
Salt N Pepa,
KillaQueenz,
Busta Rhymes and more.
