Canadian singer Celine Dion has confirmed that she’s not pregnant, despite media reports that the Grammy-winning “My Heart Will Go On” 41-year-old was with child.

Back in August, Dion’s publicist revealed that the singer (who’s sold a whopping 200 million albums across the globe) had undergone fertility treatment at a clinic in New York. Together with her husband/manager, Rene Angelil, the Quebec-based diva already is parent to an eight-year-old daughter, Rene-Charles, who was conceived through in vitro fertilisation.

Unfortunately, Dion’s representatives were forced to quash rumours yesterday, revealing that the embryo had not been implanted successfully, admitted spokeswoman Kim Jakwerth. “We are trying again to have a second child with the help of a fertility doctor,” Angelil told French-language newspaper Le Journal de Montreal.

Dion is scheduled to return to Las Vegas next year – where she enjoyed a residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace back which lasted from 2003 until 2007 – but representatives wouldn’t confirm whether or not the plans would go ahead.
