Hearts are breaking across the globe with the news that Nathan Followill, the 30-year-old drummer with “Sex On Fire” rockers
Kings Of Leon, has tied the knot. The drummer wed alt-country singer
Jessie Baylin during an outdoor ceremony in Brentwood, Tennessee, on the weekend.
“I woke up with a married woman in my bed this morning,” Followill Tweeted on Sunday 15 November, also showing off a new photo of his wedding band. “Luckily she was mine.”
According to reports on People.com, the Kings Of Leon star – who met his wife back in 2005, with the pair separately played the Bonnaroo festival – enjoyed the company of his family/bandmates, Caleb and Jared Followill (his brothers) and Matthew Followill (his cousin), as well as Hollywood actress
Scarlett Johansson, who went to high school with Baylin. The ceremony took place at the Wolf Den Farm, with food catered by a nearby restaurant and lots of dancing taking place in a barn decorated just for the occasion. The newlywed’s first dance was, reportedly, to an instrumental Hawaiian lap steel guitar tune.
Don’t worry ladies: the rest of the band are still single.
