Tom Jones has announced he’ll return to Australia for a national tour in support of his new album, 24 Hours.
With a series of indoor and A Day On The Green winery concerts set to kick off in February, the “Delilah” and “If I Only Knew” legend has come a long way since his beginnings singing in local pubs in South Wales in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Having earned himself a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, Jones (that’s
Sir Tom Jones, officially – he’s been knighted by the queen) has enjoyed over 40 years of chart hits. His latest album, 24 Hours, is released next week, with tracks co-written by Jones, as well as “Sugar Daddy” (penned for the singer by
U2’s Bono) and a cover of
Bruce Springsteen’s “The Hitter”.
Jones was last in Australia back in 2005. Support for all shows will be
