Lady Gaga, Green Day, Pink, Dave Matthews Band and the Zac Brown Band are the latest performers announced for this year’s Grammy Awards.

Already announced as performing at the 52nd edition of the glittering American music ceremony are Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas and Taylor Swift, who along with Lady Gaga and the Dave Matthews Band are all nominated for Best Album.

Lady Gaga scored five nominations this year, scoring three nods for “Poker Face”  – Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Dance Recording. Her LP, The Fame, is up for Album Of The Year and Best Electronic/Dance Album. Leading the pack however, is Beyoncé (with 10 nominations) and Taylor Swift (with eight).

Australia has two nominees this year, with legendary rockers AC/DC getting a nod for their latest album, Black Ice, up for a trophy in the Best Rock Album and Best Hard Rock Album categories. They’ll have to beat the likes of U2, Green Day, Metallica and Nickelback if they want to take home an award. Keith Urban, meanwhile, is nominated in the Best Male Country Vocal Performance category for his song “Sweet Thing” from the Defying Gravity album, which is also up for Best Country Album.

The 52nd Grammy Awards takes place on Sunday 31 January in Los Angeles, California.
