Madonna has a brand new album in the works – and has drafted two very different producers to work on the upcoming tunes. Seems the next music we hear from the 50-year old pop icon will take her into unfamiliar musical territory...
First up,
Madonna’s chosen Brendan O’Brien, who’s carved out his career as producer, mixer and engineer while working with the likes of
Pearl Jam (including their latest Backspacer release), AC/DC (Black Ice),
Bruce Springsteen,
Rage Against The Machine and local lads
The Living End (with whom he laid down White Noise).
O’Brien will team up with Montreal-born, New York-based DJ A-Trak (real name Alain Macklovitch) for the disc. He’s recently worked with a slew of big names, including
Kanye West,
Lupe Fiasco and
Armand Van Helden. A-Trak originally became a well known DJ thanks to winning the grand trifecta of DJ competitions – DMC, ITF and Vestax.
Fans waiting to hear
Madge’s latest music will have to wait. It’s not yet known when we should expect to hear the new album from the pop icon.
