Rumours have been circulating the internet about supposed collaborations between pop star
Leona Lewis and two of music’s biggest names: British pop star
Robbie Williams and US bad boys the
Kings of Leon. One rumour, however, has proved false, with
KOL drummer Nathan Followill quashing reports which claimed the band are “huge fans” of the singer, via a status update on Twitter.
“Contrary to reports out there,” he wrote, “
Kings of Leon are not writing or recording with
Leona Lewis. No offence to her.”
Robbie Williams, however, is yet to confirm the story.
In other news,
Lewis’s 2005 single, “Bleeding Love”, also made it to number 23 on the ARIA end-of-decade Singles chart. The multi-platinum selling first singer rocketed to fame after winning the televised British singing competition, “The X Factor”. She’s also found success in the US, scoring three Grammy Award nominations and being named Billboard’s Top New Talent in 2008.
