The Los Angeles Police Department have allegedly finished their investigation into the death of Michael Jackson – and his doctor is reportedly due to face criminal charges in the coming weeks.

Dr Conrad Murray was the only person being investigated by the police due to his role in administering the “Thriller” star with drugs just hours before his death back in June 2005. Jackson’s death certificate has recently been published online by UK tabloid News Of The World, clearly showing the amendment to the initial certificate which “Deferred” the cause of death. The updated certificate shows that the pop icon’s death is deemed “Homicide” by “Intravenous injection by another”, with the drug responsible named as “Propofol”.

Dr Murray has reportedly enlisted the services of lawyer Michael Flanagan – who was responsible for defending Britney Spears hit and run charges in 2007 – but more importantly has successfully defended a nurse in a similar drug case.
