Jessica Simpson and Smashing Pumpkin Billy Corgan making music together?

Jessica Simpson has recently fuelled rumours that she’s not only dating Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, but that she’s also recording music with him. Her photographer friend Kristin Burns uploaded a photograph onto Twitter recently of the couple in the recording studio, writing the caption, “In the studio snap of @jessicasimpson and @billy working on a song...” Simpson re-Tweeted it and added, “He braids my prayers.”

Perhaps it revealed too much, as the photograph has since been removed from the website (though US celebrity magazine People still has it to view on their site). Another pic, posted two days ago by music producer Kerrey Brown (“@studiodog”), has also been deleted from the popular social networking site. The attached comment read, “Going over a song with @billy and the boxer @JessicaSimpson” – to which Simpson re-Tweeted with the added comment, “I am blessed.”

Rumours about the couple initially started circulating the internet late last year, when the pair were spotted together in New York.

Corgan is currently in the studio working on the completion of the forthcoming Pumpkins’ album Teargarden By Kaleidyscope. Its first track, “A Song For A Son”, was made available for free download in December 2009.
