[Source: NME.com] Dr Conrad Murray has returned to work after facing a charge of involuntary manslaughter relating to the death Michael Jackson.
Murray was bailed for AUS$84,000 at a Los Angeles court on Monday 8 February after pleading not guilty to “unlawfully” killing Jackson, whose death last June has been ruled as homicide.
He works as a cardiologist and is now understood to be planning to work at a physician’s office in Los Angeles after his own practice in the city was closed last August, reports BBC News. His lawyer, Edward Chernoff, confirmed that his client wants “to keep practising medicine”.
The location for Murray’s new workplace has not been disclosed.
Speaking to Dr Murray in court on Monday, Judge Keith Schwartz warned him against administering or working with the drug Propofol, which has been linked to Jackson’s death. “You may not under any circumstances use any anaesthetic agents, specifically Propofol,” he said.
Murray could face up to four years in prison if convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
