Last in the country for a slot on the 2010 Big Day Out, Leicestershire rockers Kasabian have announced they’ll return to Australia for another tour in July.

Riding on the back of the success of their third studio album, West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, the band – led by singer Tom Meighan and songwriter/guitarist Serge Pizzorno – are already one of Britain’s biggest-selling groups, and have won over local fans with tracks like “Underdog” and “Where Did All The Love Go?”. The band have suggested their latest LP is something of a concept album, with every song meant to reflect a different inmate in the title’s asylum. The LP won Best Album at the Q Awards and was nominated for the 2009 Mercury Music Prize.
