Pop superstar Michael Jackson has denied reports suggesting he will feature on American Idol. Last week, media outlets across the USA claimed Jacko would host a special episode of the show, which would see current contestants perform a selection of his hits and the singer offer advice. But it's not to be, according to spokesman Raymone Bain. "There is absolutely no truth to the rumour that Michael Jackson is going to appear on American Idol," Bain revealed yesterday. "He has signed no agreements with anyone." The show's executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, confirmed the news, but said a "huge" guest star is scheduled to appear. "Look toward a major news announcement in the next couple of weeks," he said. "It's the biggest thing to happen to Idol in five years."
