[Source: NME.com] The Walkmen have announced details of their forthcoming new album.

Entitled Lisbon, the follow-up to 2008’s You & Me will be released on Tuesday 14 September in the North America, with a UK release date expected to be on Monday 13 September.

Recorded in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, the group wrote a number of songs for the LP in Lisbon, Portugal.

Produced by John Congleton, who has worked with the likes of Modest Mouse, The Roots and The Polyphonic Spree, the 11-song album was engineered by Chris Zane (Les Savy Fav, The Rakes and Passion Pit).
