Having landed in Australia on Saturday February 24 for a celebrity DJ set at Brisbane's Met Club, Boy George – the eccentric soul singer who shot to fame fronting UK pop act Culture Club back in the 80s – was in for a rude shock. Having flown in from Auckland, the DJ discovered his entire record collection was missing after the airline left the discs in New Zealand. Representatives for the star revealed he was forced to make a quick dash to a local record store, where he bought up big in order to get through the show.
