Montreal-based electrofunk duo Chromeo have announced they’ll drop their third longplayer, titled Business Casual, on Friday 10 September.

The follow-up to 2007’s Fancy Footwork, the new disc sees duo David Macklovitch (aka Dave 1) and musical partner Patrick Gemayel (P-Thugg) team up for 10 new tracks, including special collaborations by guest stars such as former Destiny’s Child singer Solange Knowles. The 24-year-old diva appears on the song “When The Night Falls”.

Mixed by Cassius member Philippe Zdar (who recently helmed discs by Cut Copy and Phoenix), the new record got its first public airing earlier this month when the “Night By Night” duo played at Tennessee’s Bonnaroo music festival, with none other than Darryl Hall (of Hall & Oates fame) by their side.

First single “Don’t Turn The Lights On” hits radio on Monday 28 June.
