Sydney four-piece Human Nature scored one of the biggest albums of their 20 plus year career when they released their chart-topping 2005 LP, Reach Out: The Motown Records. Now based in Las Vegas, the former ‘doo-wop’ lads have enjoyed a succession of hit albums since then – and are now set to return to Australia for the first time in three years.

Come December, Michael Tierney, Andrew Tierney, Toby Allen and Phil Burton will return to their home country with a spectacular stage show inspired by the infamous sights and sounds of Vegas. The ‘Direct from Las Vegas! Australian Symphony Tour’ will combine elements from their critically acclaimed Motown-inspired tour (including performances of hits such as “Dancing In The Street”, “Reach Out” and “Just My Imagination”), as well as brand new songs from the band’s forthcoming album. Plus they’ll delve into Vegas history, with renditions of star tunes by famous Vegas performers including Tom Jones (“She’s A Lady”), Barry Manilow (“Could It Be Magic”), Elvis Presley (“A Little Less Conversation”) as well as tunes by Rat Pack icons Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra and more.

Currently based in Vegas, Human Nature will take a three week break to head across Australia on the tour. They also recently recorded brand new tracks in a studio situated in Palms Casino with producer Harvey Mason Jr – who’s worked with the likes of Whitney Houston, Britney Spears and Chris Brown.

“It’s exciting to be heading back home,” the band said in a statement. “Las Vegas has an incredible musical history and our new music is reflective of the spirit of Vegas and its musical legacy. It has a character and vibrancy distinctive of the fast pace and bright lights of Las Vegas and I hope our Australian fans will embrace it as much as we have.”
